The Rodeo Preacher is a three-day event that showcases country gospel music every year.

Eventually, the festival hopes to attract artists from all over the world to perform on its stages.

The Rodeo Preacher aspires to become Australia's preeminent country gospel music festival, celebrating country music and its ​essence and bringing country music enthusiasts together. A representation of the enduring impact that outback preachers have had ​on rodeo scenes, communities, and—industriously—country music in Australia, The Rodeo Preacher aspires to grow and expand into ​other parts of the country.

Everything revolves around a day of events, booths at the market, and spending time with loved ones.

Country Gospel Music Festivals

A celebration that unites country music enthusiasts with the essence of the genre, The Rodeo Preacher aspires to become the ​preeminent country gospel music festival in Australia. Originating in the South East Queensland region, with Mount Gravatt being its ​primary focus in the 1990s, the Country Gospel Music Festival expanded from Logan City to Blackstone, Ipswich in 2023, in response to ​a deep-seated interest in the genre. In 2024, two pioneering ministers of the Gospel achieved a modest beginning with the Rodeo ​Preacher by realising a vision. With a strong influence on the festival's development, these trailblazers in the gospel from Ipswich to ​Mount Isa realised their ambition of establishing a venue where enthusiasts could fully engage with the music and spirit of community ​that characterises the genre. In doing so, they ultimately connected communities in Australia eventually with a goal to those in ​Nashville. Numerous gospel preachers who reside and travel to vast outback communities and rodeos, bringing hope to the community, ​are described in The Rodeo Preacher. More importantly than bringing the Gospel to cowboys and cowgirls across the nation, The Rodeo ​Preacher seeks to expand and develop into other regions of Australia as a symbol of the lasting influence that outback preachers ​have had on Australia's rodeo scenes, communities and no doubts the country music scene.
